Below are some of the managed funds we are working with to drive impact for a better planet.

Driving innovation in water

• Equitix invests in innovative infrastructure, including desalination technology that turns seawater into drinking water for water-stressed regions.
• Water Asset Management invests in US real assets that ensure reliable water supply availability for communities, agriculture and the environment. The projects we support in California and Arizona are expected to conserve billions of litres of water annually.
• Ocean 14 Capital invest in innovative companies that improve ocean health and address critical issues like overfishing, plastic pollution, and ecosystem preservation.

Increasing circularity and reducing waste

• GEF Capital Partners invest in resource-efficient companies in sectors like clean energy and waste management, including a company repurposing used cooking oil from restaurants into renewable heating oil.
• Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners invest in renewable energy infrastructure and related assets, including a renewable fuels and biogas specialist focused on converting food and beverage industry waste into renewable energy solutions.

• Fiera Infrastructure invests in renewable energy projects, including US community solar parks and battery storage, to expand clean energy access for local communities and low-to-moderate income households.
• Pioneer Point Partners invest in sustainable infrastructure, including the energy transition and clean mobility, in Western Europe.
• Planet First Partners investments also include a company at the forefront of supporting carbon-intensive industries become more sustainable through a solution that uses renewable electricity to produce green hydrogen and synthetic gas.

Our renewable energy assets managed by external asset managers, contribute 1 terawatt hour of renewable electricity. This complements the direct investments in our managed renewable energy portfolio where we have committed to invest EUR 7.5 billion by 2023 to produce 15 terawatt hours. We have already invested or committed to invest over EUR 4.2 billion, generate renewable energy power equivalent to the annual consumption of over 1.47 million European households.
