Forestland in Lithuania

Ingka Investments invests in forestland for the long term to ensure this vital resource is managed responsibly, so that they remain forests forever. In Lithuania we own 27,000 hectares.

27,000 hectares of forestland

15% of our forest area included in Conservation Area Network (including High Conservation Values) - FY25

838,575 million seedlings planted - FY25

20% of our forestland prioritises environmental objectives first with half designated as no-harvest zones to protect rare, threatened, and endangered species and habitats.

Conserving biodiversity across our Lithuanian forests

13% of our Lithuanian portfolio consists of Natura 2000 sites, where we work with the National Agency for Protected Areas to safeguard species and habitats of conservation importance. These objectives are fully integrated into our forest management plans. We also protect EU-listed habitats within our forests that lie outside designated Natura 2000 areas.
