COVID-19: Temporary IKEA store closures

Due to the spread of COVID-19, a number of IKEA stores are temporarily closed.

The primary concern for IKEA is the health and safety of our co-workers and customers. As there are unique circumstances in the 30 countries where Ingka Group has stores located, evaluations and decisions are taken based on the local situation. 

Below is a list of current temporary closures. Further details, such as the possibility of click & collect and click & deliver, can be found on the IKEA website for individual countries.



Seven stores have been closed since 17 November, due to remain closed until 6 December. 

Eight IKEA stores have been closed since 2 November.  

The IKEA Winnipeg store closed since 20 November, due to remain closed until 11 December. Two more stores closed on 23 November. Read more here.

Czech Republic
Six IKEA stores have been closed since 22 October.

17 stores in England have been closed since 5 November. Click here for more information.

35 IKEA stores have been closed since 30 October. 

The IKEA Dublin store has been closed since 21 October. 

11 IKEA stores are currently closed. Additional restrcitions on other stores are in place, such as weekend closures, for full details please click here.

Nine IKEA stores have been closed since 7 November. For further information click here.

The IKEA Asturias store has been closed since 4 November, while the IKEA Valladolid store has been closed from 6 November. Full details for IKEA Spain can be seen here.
The IKEA Vernier store in Geneva has been closed since the end of business on 2 November.
